An electronic music composer and performer based in Los Angeles, I am fascinated with new ways to interface with emerging technology, exploring new avenues of expression and interesting ways to generate and manipulate sound both in stereo and surround.
After moving from Bulgaria to the United States, my natural curiosity and inclination towards the arts and sciences led me to pursue an Interdisciplinary Computing in the Arts degree at UC San Diego. Alongside my academic pursuits in music and technology I began refining my performance and production work with a strong emphasis on layered rhythms, sonic textures, movement and space. My influences include the everyday, Emergence theory, my dog, New Physics, travel and good food - all of which combined inform my approach to sound. From emotive and atmospheric to energetic and highly-processed, my work fuses elements from many diverse generes. A strong work ethic, knowledge base and versatile approach to audio technology enables my collaboration with other creative professionals in many realms such as sound for film, interactive multimedia and music production. |
